Trading with like minds and unlike minds.
I see posts in the forums once in a while asking if there are options traders in a certain geographical area. While I can see the desire to get together and talk to people that with the same interests, I would consider virtual meetings too. I have met with some folks for several years and had only met one of them until the OptionsANIMAL San Francisco student summit. I know of several other groups like the one I attend.
There are several good FREE ways to do virtual meetings. The group I take part in passes the screen around and looks at certain equities to discuss new trades and adjustments. Other groups get together to look at the OptionsANIMAL material and study for level tests. I’ve heard of groups that study technical indicators and back testing. There are many options to use. Find people with a like mind and form a group.
Options trading can be a very lonely pursuit. Most people think options trading is a quick way to bankruptcy. If you discuss it with the untrained, they either have no idea what you are talking about or they think you are nuts. OptionsANIMAL graduates know options are a great way to limit risk and greatly increase your returns.
So if you want to talk about options trading, don’t let geography stop you. Seek out others with similar interests regardless of their location. You will be amazed at how well you will get to know these people who you might never meet. Watch out though, you might form strong bonds with them and look forward to talking to them about other things too.
