Perhaps, you are new to the stock market or new to investing altogether, and you have heard people say things like, “I’m going to go short on a position.” You are not sure what they mean. Well, we’ve been in your shoes, everyone starts somewhere. What does it mean to go short? To go short simply means that you are selling because when you hear someone say, “Short they are selling.” They could be selling a stock, a currency, a commodity or they could be selling an option.
