Curriculum Details
Level 1: Due Diligence
Proper Due Diligence is the foundation of profitable investing. That foundation is laid in Level 1 which is composed of four courses, plus a review session. In addition to an Orientation into the education program, areas covered include Fundamental Analysis, Technical & Market Sentiment Analysis and Introduction to Economic Events. A sound understanding of the principles of Due Diligence enables students to accurately identify short and long-term trends for both individual stocks as well as for the overall market.
Level 2 : Options Instruments
Level 2 offers five classes plus a review session that will ensure that students have a complete understanding of the Options Instruments and how options are properly used to hedge risk and maximize profits. Upon completion of this level students will have an understanding of stock market basics as well as the rights and obligations associated with the Options Instruments.
Level 3: Basic Spreads
In Level 3 students are introduced to the application of Options Strategies. Divided into five courses plus a review session, students learn how to properly structure a trade using the Protective Put, Covered Call, Collar Trade as well as applying the Straddle/Strangle. Students will also learn how to manage the emotions of Fear and Greed by gaining a firm grasp on the setting of Primary and Secondary Exit Points.
Level 4: Call Spreads
In Level 4 students learn the specific use of Call Spread Trades. Upon completion of the four classes plus review session, students will have command over the appropriate application of the Bull Call, Bear Call and Call Calendar Spread Trades. As with all levels, students learn both the strategy of the trades taught as well as the practical theory and application of placing the trades. Students also learn how to set appropriate primary and secondary exit points.
Level 5 : Put Spreads
In Level 5 students master the use of Put Spread Trades. Four classes plus a review session cover the use of Put Spreads ensuring that upon completion of this level students will have a thorough understanding of the strategic use of Put Spreads as well as a grasp of the practical application of Put Spreads including the Bull Put, Bear Put and Put Calendar.
